The Church Commissioners
One of our first major pieces of work in 1999 was an estate environmental audit of the 8 Church Commissioners rented housing estates in London. These comprised a total of 1581 properties spread across 4 local authorities – Hackney, Lambeth, Southwark and Westminster.
Many of our recommendations have now been carried out by the Church Commissioners as they modernize these early examples of social housing.
