Case studies
Network Housing Group
We have carried out a variety of asset management surveys for Network Housing Group, concentrating particularly on their housing stock in the Brent and Westminster areas of London.
These exercises have yielded the following schemes:
- Gordon House, Malvern Road, London NW6 — A low rise sheltered block that had been converted into a homeless persons hostel, we identified this as a major redevelopment possibility. Proposals are now in hand to build 26 new homes on the site. (Pic of site + Newspaper cutting of proposals)
- Harrow Road, London W9 — A special needs scheme of 14 flats over shops on a main road, we suggested that this be decanted and converted instead into a key worker housing project. (Pic of site at present)
- Greenwood Court, Cambridge Street, London SW1 — Originally a hotel built behind a Georgian façade this had been used as sheltered accommodation for many years by Network Housing Group. We identified it as an anomaly and it is now the subject of proposals to decant the existing residents and reconvert the property into appropriately sized family homes. (Pic of site at present)
