Wherever we have worked we have found partially used, abandoned or completely overgrown allotments and market garden sites. Many of these are privately owned and are kept in poor condition in the hope that at some stage they may be redesignated as house building areas.

With contemporary concerns about food security and the carbon footprints caused by importing out of season produce, we believe that these sites offer an excellent opportunity to lease or rent (as well as buy) land and return it to food production.
